This cartridge has several games but our daughter's (6 yrs) favorite is the matching letters and numbers game. You "turn over" two spaces and try to remember where the match is and you are timed. It is so much fun that we parents even like to play it and see how fast we can do it. We highly recommend this cartridge.

This software is wonderful! My child loves to practice her writing on the Pixter. It adds endless play at learning the alphabet and numbers. I would recommend it for ages 4 to 6.

I got this for my 3 year old. I think he's just a little bit young for this one. He ejoys messing with it, but it is not his favorite. Most of it is too hard. The 'Let's Write!' section is great, you get to either trace or freehand the letters in upper or lower case and it says their names. I think he will get a lot of use out of this when he gets a little older.

If it is not responding to your writting on it, check the instructions, you must calibrate the Pixter before you can start using it. Warning: Never get your Pixter screen the slightest bit wet, the screen will no longer work properly.

I have an older son who is 8 and his little brother always wants to play with his GBA. He's a little young for it and so in came Pixter! Boy, does he love it. I only wish I would have bought the one with the light. It wasn't around when I bought his but he does enjoy it very much. Even I do.

I got this as a gift for my 8yo daughter to help her with her handwriting based on its description. Unfortunately she hasn't been using it as she says it doesn't recognize when she's trying to write on it per the screen. I haven't tried it yet, but as my 3yo loves playing with big sister's Pixter I'm going to have him try it soon.
