5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and a little challenging
I got this game for my husband because he loved Order Up. The reason we like Pizza Delivery Boy is that it's simple and you can just start playing right away. You make pizzas by memorizing where the toppings go and placing them exactly as shown. You can peek at the order picture if you forget but it is timed.I wish it were two player, although it is in a way because as...

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty solid casual gamer game
The game is overly redundant and also pretty easy to get the hand of making the pizzas. The driving is just way too jumpy. It's not smooth at all and hard to handle. I bought this game for a very casual gamer though and that person is able to find it challenging enough to play for a while but frustrating enough to not beat it. For the casual or young gamer though this...

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and a little challenging, May 23, 2010

I got this game for my husband because he loved Order Up. The reason we like Pizza Delivery Boy is that it's simple and you can just start playing right away. You make pizzas by memorizing where the toppings go and placing them exactly as shown. You can peek at the order picture if you forget but it is timed.I wish it were two player, although it is in a way because as the number of toppings increase it gets harder to remember where things go without help. Next you deliver the pizzas by driving and avoiding obstacles. You lose points by being late. The vehicles are a little harder to control than say, Mario Kart cars (even without the wheels as on GameCube). You also use your vehicles to run errands all to earn money and unlock recipes, ingredients, tips and tricks. Some of the errands are annoying when it gets difficult to locate items you need to complete your tasks, especially the timed ones. We kept failing one or two because we needed just a fraction of a second more. Overall great game design. There is only a small problem with the Wii remote (hopefully only ours) and the handling of the pizzas. Sometimes it makes you drop toppings or just responds slowly. We haven't finished the game so these are the only problems we've encountered. But this games is definitely worth the $25.

4.0 out of 5 stars Driving lessons or Pizza delivery?, May 29, 2010

This game is very bright and colorful. I bought this game for my nine year old niece whose biggest complaint was that she could not move forward in the game because she could not make the deliveries before the time ran out. The reason time ran out I noticed while watching her play, is because the scooter she was driving was extremely difficult to guide to the lighted delivery spots. She is normally good at driving games and I believe when she's able to move forward in the game and receive a different vehicle she will enjoy the game more. Even though her driving was terrible she played for hours and enjoyed running over things on the sidewalk.

It gets pretty picky on how you make the pizzas. Delivery is ok. Not what I expected, so we don't play it a lot. (We're in our late 50s; Grandson also prefers other games)

1.0 out of 5 stars Wii does pizza BADLY!, April 2, 2011
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Pizza Delivery Boy (Video Game)
Horrible geme. At first, the game play is not simple! You create pizzas, but placing the toppings and cheese is very awkward with the wii remote. You don't know when speading the sauce is over after retouching it several times. Driving the scooter to deliver the pies is very awkward indeed. Very easy to get into dead ends. The game is trying to imitate a classic CRAZY TAXI. The days off are even worse. Hired by a florist to knock over overgrown shrubs? C'MON! One of wii's worst games.

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Abysmal, March 21, 2011
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Pizza Delivery Boy (Video Game)
This game is atrocious. The sound will make your ears bleed, the gameplay will have you screaming, and the overall presentation is beyond horrible. The game has you play as a humble pizza delivery boy who works in a few cities trying to help out some struggling pizza shops. You will go through actually making the pizzas, delivering them, and doing challenge missions all just as mundane as the last. Each city plays the same horrendous song looping over and over and over again eventually leaving it stamped in your brain. Per usual with most games on the Wii the controls are ridiculously bad and it will have you stuck on fire hydrants & fences for ten seconds at a time. The graphics are about the same as an average Gamecube game which isn't saying much. Do yourself a favor and don't pick this up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crazy Taxi for Kids, July 19, 2010

This game is really cute. Fun for the whole family. Whilst the Pizza Making section lets it down a little bit, the fast paced driving section is a blast. Literally. Everything breaks. Very fun and satisfying. Mad-capped fun for the whole family.
