reschool--This eye-popping book features impressive paper engineering. A bear holding his cell phone is planning lunch for the king. An owl reads a cookbook, a happy penguin kneads the pizza dough with his feet, and a mouse and spider pop out of cupboards. Young audiences will enjoy picking tasty toppings from a rotating paper wheel that shows caterpillars, bugs, tadpoles, worms, snails, and-a frog jumps on the pizza. Basic text gives a framework to the brightly painted pictures. Listeners will enjoy making "slurp, nosh, CRUNCH, gulp, gobble, YUM YUM, nibble" and "ROAR" sounds along with the lunching animals. This is my son's favorite book. I have had to buy it three times. He is 1 and a 1/2 years old and he has to look at this book at least twice a day. The pop ups are great and my son loves it when the King roars at the end. As far as I am concerned this is THE Pop-Up book.
