I already owned an RSVP World Class Pizza Cutter and it was of excellent quality and cut quite cleanly. It was, however, too short for my 15inch pizzas. The 20inch American Metalcraft cutter arrived quickly from Next Day Gourmet but it refused to cut cleanly, leaving slices stuck together unlike the RSVP cutter. When I compared the two cutters I found the American Metalcraft to have an edge that was rough and ragged almost as if it was sharpened on a sidewalk. I took my knife sharpener ( I believe it's called a STEEL ) and after about 15 minutes, the edge was smooth, sharp and working fine.

Was tired of my pizza cutter "pushing" all the ingredients along in front of it when cutting pizza so looked for this type of gadget. I am SO pleased with it!!! It cuts easily and cleanly and I love it! The old pizza cutter has been retired!!

Purchased this pizza knife because the wheel style, in my opinion, just made a mess of the pizza's my family likes. With this knife the cheese doesn't get all messy, which, with my wife's love of lots of cheese on a pizza, is a big plus. I am also beginning to learn about the finer points of pizza making and wanted good tools to use. I cannot compare it to other knives of this kind, but, it meets all my expectations and due to it's length, should work on any pizza I plan to create.

Product does the job, but the steel could have been thicker with a larger handle on the top to grip. It is good that there are no wood or plastic parts on this knife incorporating crevasses where food and foreign material can get into, or bacteria can grow. Product also has a convenient factory set hole so you can hang it in your kitchen. The product does however come with a sticker on it that has an adhesive difficult to remove unless you know how: nail polish remover, or furniture polish when allowed to soak in, should do the trick.

This is a very good cutter for pizzas over 12", but it has one draw back, it is so large it doesn't fit in all drawers.

This was suppose to be a Christmas gift for my fiance,but I ended up giving it to him early. & he loves it!!
