Great book for very early readers,

My four year old loves this book! It is so hard to find easy reader books that are actually interesting but this one fits the bill. The pictures are adorable too. There are several Sam books but this is one of our favorites. Sam must sit by and watch her owners having a party. She wants all the yummy food (cake, cookies, etc) but of course her owners won't let her have any. Finally in the end Sam steals a box of pizza off the table and eats the pizza. My son loves that Sam gets away with eating the pizza. I would highly recommend this book for ages 3 plus. There are about three sentences per page and your child will need help reading it, but should be able to pick out several words after reading the story a couple of times. My son has this memorized as we've read it so many times. If you like this book, be aware that there are others in the Sam series that are all pretty good.

Easy read for the average first grader.
Children enjoyed reading this book on their own. This book has cute pictures the children enjoyed looking at. These pictures also help the children read unknown words.
