This review is from: The Pizza That We Made (Penguin Young Readers, L2) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is easily used with school-age beginner English Language Learners (ELLs). The verbs can be taught using Total Physical Response. The nouns with a cooking experience. After making a pizza, ELLs can use the book as a resource in retelling and writing about the experience. It is an excellent choice for teachers with beginner ELLs in their classroom.
