I have been looking for a quality sleeve with no zipper around the edges. Finally I found this sleeve which also comes with a storage pocket. I really loved it when I saw a video on youtube for a person putting a macbook charger with the extension inside that pocket and having more space to use. So it is large enough for a charger, keys, and maybe an ipod. The only thing I do not like is that the pocket zipper is a too stiff. Maybe it would loose up after a while.

I would definitely buy this sleeve again. Amazon sells it for around $8 less than the manufacturing company.

I provide computer support for a university research team of roughly 35 users, most of whom use MacBook Pro laptops. Case-Logic stopped making our favorite laptop sleeve, which had no scratching zipper (basically zippers don't work for constant use -- better to have flaps), and opened from the narrow end so that it could stay inside a rolling bag/backpack.

This product is actually even better than the Case-Logic one we used for 5+ years. It is a snugger fit (they stretch a bit with time), has very tight stitches off the edges, and has a very convenient pocket on one side that is sufficient to stuff in a power adapter and a display adapter (say, for a projector).

The product comes only in black, which isn't optimum. We like bright colors so that it's easier for us to spot somebody walking down the hall with a stolen laptop under their arm. But since this design is apparently new, I imagine we'll see more colors as its popularity grows.

I have been using this case now for over a month and am still very impressed with the design. Slipping it over my MacBook Pro is super easy and the thread of scratching the finish over time is non-existent due to the fact that the only zipper is on an outside pocket. Once inside, your MacBook will be well protected by an appropriately thick layer of neoprene. The flap design insures that the is no way the MacBook could slip out inadvertently. The stitching is of high quality and looks like it will hold up well.

The outside pocket zipper is only about five-inches long, but it opens up into an area as big as the case itself (minus the flap). I choose not to cram much stuff in here, but it could certainly hold the power pack, external drive, or mouse, etc.

As previous reviewers have mentioned, it did indeed emit a strong smell for about a week - a plus for me as I actually enjoy the smell of neoprene. :-) After six weeks I have to stick my nose directly on it to catch even a hint of a whiff. :-(

In summary, I am VERY please with this product and recommend it highly to anyone wishing to protect their valuable investment.

I was looking for a sleeve with no zipper and this fits the bill perfectly. Holds my new MacBook Pro 15" super snug. One small concern is it's so snug I feel like I need to make sure no debris is inside the bag before sliding it on as I feel it would certainly scratch my laptop (since there's NO wiggle room). But that's kinda just paranoia talking.

One issue, which I'm assuming is a temporary thing, is the smell. This thing has the 'new' smell of a neoprene product, but multiplied by 1,000. I'm not typically sensitive to this sort of thing, but the smell of this thing is very very strong. Again, I'm assuming it will go away after a bit of time.

Aside from all of that, this is a nice little sleeve. Seals up super tight, wrapping the laptop into a little mummy, No zipper means you don't have to worry about it crushing up against the fancy MacBook.

** Update: The smell seems to be going away, but it was very strong. I'd walk into my apartment and smell it across the room almost immediately. And I went to a cafe, pulled my laptop out of this sleeve and set the sleeve on the bench next to me --the girl nearby studying kind of had this "who farted?" look on her face after a few moments. ...!

Oh and there's a little zipper pouch on this sleeve. Kind of nice but I don't see a huge use for it. I don't see myself putting the AC adaptor in there --in fact not even sure it would fit. So I don't recommend using that pouch as a major purchasing factor.

This is a perfect sleeve for our new Mac laptop. IT's ritzy like the Apple laptop. NICE and quality. Love it.

After reading other reviews on this product I figured I was in for a serious bad smelling first week with the product. However, after receiving the product I did not find that is smelled bad or strong at all. Was able to start using it right away.

Great sleeve that protects the notebook very well. Corners are even very protective. Highly recommend this sleeve.

I just received this new laptop sleeve. It arrived in a timely way nicely packaged.

It fit my 15" macbook pro great. I've always had zippered laptop sleeves with no pockets. I think I'll enjoy this design -- no zipper, nice sleek pocket. I wish there were other colors, but that's a quibble.

As advertised the sleeve for my 15" MacBook Pro fits like a glove. It provide a secure protective cover that adds very little to the overall size. I do wish it came in another color.

This is a very nice sleeve. It fits my 15" Macbook Pro perfectly. It is very well made, with a snug fit and covers my Macbook completely. The extra pocket on the outside is nice and really large although I haven't used it for anything yet. I originally had a hard cover case on my Macbook but it took away from it's beauty. Apple makes beautiful devices and they look there best nude. After removing the hard case, I thought I would try a neoprene sleeve to cover it when in my backpack or laptop case. So far I really like this sleeve and have no complaints. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a simple and effective cover for there Macbook.
