Amazing Sound,,

This review is from: Place I Call Home (Audio CD)
Since attending a performance of Native Roots I have been playing their 2 CDs constantly. "Place I Call Home" is jolly, uplifting, with the unusual and irrestible combination of reggae and Native American rhythms and tunes. Great listening, highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good music, originality, and creativity.

The remarkable combination of Indian content and reggae style works beautifully, especially in the extremely catchy "Tribute," "Tohono O'odham People," and the title cut. Their other CD "Rain Us Love" won a NAMMY (Native American music award) in '02. Good music, good message, fun listen.
