This review is from: A Place for Dialogue: Language, Land Use, and Politics in Southern Arizona (American Land & Life) (Hardcover)
From talking around, through and over using the same words but perceived different meanings, we frequently find ourselves unnecessarily polarized, standing either as an enemy or a one-of-us. A Place for Dialog is a corrective prescription using real case history here in the Southwest. Beautifully written, the language here flows with a crisp grace, never too academic, and in the end personally useful. Highly recommended and a read of value for those working to make social change or to understand why it frequently doesn't happen.
