5.0 out of 5 stars We Might Actually Be Loved After All, March 4, 2006
This review is from: A Place of Mercy: Finding God on the Street (Paperback)
The justification for fear and hopelessness fades away with the reading of "A Place of Mercy: Finding God on the Street". It's about little saintly people changing the world. It warms the reader by pulling them into the struggle of a life bigger and broader than their own. It lets one, as Dana said, "Come down from our high places and know truths by contrast." It lets the reader see that pain and suffering can be eased by a kind and gentle presence. This is a book about people, about us. It makes the pretty little stories of youth believable again.
