Such a great book!,

My sister gave this book to me as a Christmas gift. It sat in my pantry for months until I finally started looking through it last night. I'm so glad that I finally took the time to do so! It's just beautiful, the photos really make you want to head out to a Farmer's market and then straight into the kitchen. It has the most amazing recipes and the weekly menu is the best idea for a cook book ever! Plus, the idea that these two unlikely friends got together and created this book, is really inspiring. I live near Placer County (Eldorado County is where we reside). We have many Farmer's markets nearby. After reading this, I'm so excited to go and check them out. I'm also more in tune with the notion of supporting local produce growers. I'd suggest this book to anyone.

Don't you want to have people over every week for dinner and serve them whatever is at it's peak from the farmer's market?Sounds like a plan. Happy anecdotes,homey photographs and exciting menus. I'm sure you don't have to live in Placer County,California to enjoy real food from farmer's markets.
