It's the book, in a calendar format,

I LOVE the book. It has become my "life plan" to check off all 1,000 places. Naturally, I bought the calendar. Much of the calendar pages are reprints of the places in the book. I was hoping to get more insight into the places, but these are word-for-word reprints of what is already in the book. In addition to place listings, there are also travel tips, quotes about travel, and some trivia, which break it up a little. I don't think you are getting much more information, but it is in a different format. So, while I may not read the book cover to cover, each day I get to read about one special place that I may not have looked at in the book.
