The daddy of anything Prog!!!!!!!!, October 2, 2011
This review is from: A Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers (Medley) (2005 Digital Remaster) (MP3 Download)
Except for Sgt. Pepper, no album from the 1960s & 1970s was this original, breathtaking, gothic and beautiful ~ all in one...The Big One for any one who is a so called "Prog Lover" ! Nothing in prog was ever this original...Side Two's "A Plauge of Light House Keepers" is probably Rocks defining moment. It was mostly downhill from this, PAWN HEARTS must rank as #1. The you might have say maybe a "A Passion Play" as rank # 2, "Abbey Road" # 3, :Close to the Edge" #4 Tarkus #5, "In the Court of the Crimson King" could also be a # 1 all time, lets say..."Nursery Cryme" is up there also, So may....but nothing compared to this...this record was Hammmill and the lads at their most progressive best, this blows everything else away! Egar allan Poe Meets Salvaor dali meets utopia , meets heaven.
