5.0 out of 5 stars The grooves make booties move, July 3, 2001
As the Chilli Peppers have world domination when it comes to FunkPunk it would seem that other soundalikes have failed to contribute music with equal excellence. This is not a problem when it comes to the Infectious Grooves. With stunt guitarists and a bass sound from the deepest bowels of funk, these guys should have found their way to anyones stereo, though sadly, they have been rather overlooked. True to their genre they play an almost rapid crossing between hardrock and funky licks, all with elements of humour lead by their spokesman Sarsippious. This gives the album that is filled to the brim with prestige, an even more likeable atmosphere.

5.0 out of 5 stars A lost gem in my collection, December 18, 2003

I'll make this short and sweet: GET IT, IT'S ONLY $4.00!! Being a big fan of Suicidal at the time, I've had this since it came out in 1991. I hadn't listened to it for years, even though I knew it was really good. Well, today I resurrected it, and holy moly it's really good. Super bass funkiness, catchy hooks, addictive riffs, sing-a-long refrains...maybe that doesn't sound good but it really is! And funny too. Like I said, this is a lost gem in my collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars Heavy Funk, February 12, 2000
By A Customer
If you dig the combination of metal and funk, this cd is for you! A humerous, driving, funky recording! A rare recording where the melding of styles works very well for the most part. Also this recording is better than Groove Family Cyco so buy it first.

4.0 out of 5 stars great funk
just a purely great album of funk, and some of the best bass work you will ever hear.
One star loss due to too much talking and filler between songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent combination of Funk-Metal and Groovy Hardcore
I really wonder why this CD didn't become more famous. Bands like Faith no More, and the Red Hot, and others experimented in close styles and they became huge. Read more
