Customer Reviews

It actually looks very classy.

It helps to be a little crafty of course, but even my 10 year old is getting the hang of it.

Very satisfied with this product, ordered more for a future project.

I love this stuff! I am hooked. It takes a little while to get the hang of how to apply it, but it is well worth the effort. I bought a starter kit, & used all my leading on small projects. I am now ready to tackle something more ambitious. It actually looks very classy. It doesn't look cheap or tacky. I would recommend leaving the window designs in one place. They tend to tear or distort when you move them.

Don't laugh! I bought this to tint the faceted light bulbs in my bathroom. The halogen bulbs are just so bright, I needed to tone them down a little. Even at 40 watts, four of them were just a little overwhelming. My bathroom is done in shades of lavender and purple, so I thought this might provide a solution. Amazingly enough, it works. I may have to do another coat, as it's still pretty bright, but it really adds a nice lavender touch to the reflections on the wall. I only did the ends, and every other spiral, so the entire bulb isn't tinted. I did do it multiple coats on the ends, as I thought that would dim the light a little more. Not so much on the sides though, I only wanted to add purple to the bulb, not my face. It's really subtle when the light is on, and really cool and noticeable when the light is off. Definitely one of my better ideas!

It is a good product, but it come without any instruction, so if u using the normal stained glass paints, u will be disappointed with this product, because it is for absolutely another kind and technic of painting. Actually it is very good product and gives u possibility to make both horizontal and vertical paintings. Before purchase u should search and visit various number of sites were shown the Gallery Glass paints and how to use it, on You tube for example; [...] . If u do it and if u become familiar with this paint you will enjoy it very much and u find that it's gives u a lot of new possibilities. It is my second order from this company and I am pleased, i have made a very nice applications on my kitchen window and now I am not using curtains anymore :) 4 stars, only because it comes without instruction... above link, at least, should be on Gallery Glass packages.

I have never tried making a stained glass look before and an so happy with how easy it is to use the products. It helps to be a little crafty of course, but even my 10 year old is getting the hang of it. Love this...

My kitchen window was cracked and I didn't want to have it fixed (again). I live on an alley and it broke once before (I think from the garbage truck passing). Since my house is whimsical anyway I decided to make the chip look like stained glass. It was a little tricky to get the crack covered on a vertical window. My hand was shaky and I messed it up a few times. Then I stained it With DecoArt DASK270 stained glass paint. I was complimented on it by someone who thought it was stained glass, and part of the charm of the house.

This product worked really well to cover a clear glass door in our garage. It gave it a frosted look and some privacy. Was easy to do, all I used was a sponge... Works well....

I don't use this product to turn my windows into stained glass projects. Instead I use it to make small window clings. I've been making them for years and the clings make wonderful gifts. I make tiny holiday clings in the shapes of ornaments, Rudolph faces, Christmas trees, candy canes, etc, to put on my wine glasses so guests can tell theirs from others. You can make almost any character or shape if you trace it out first and put your plastic sheet protector on top of it, then do the outline using the liquid leading. I find using the large tipped bottles this stuff comes in does hurt your hand muscles after a while. Instead, I found a more pliable squeeze bottle with a much narrower tip to transfer the leading to and I use that to do my leading outlines instead. Works fantastic, I can do clings for hours. Best to let outline dry overnight before filling with the paint. Cut the large bottle open with a utility knife and scrape out the last bits of leading with a plastic knife to transfer to your squeeze bottle of choice.
