Plenty of detail in these drawings, with descriptions and other interesting info. on every page. It didn't appeal to my kids, so this book may only relate to kids up to the age of ten--I think it was because of the amount of careful coloring it would have taken to get the pictures to look good.
It's obvious that a lot of hard work was put into this book.
