5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Book!, July 1, 2008
This review is from: Great Plains Patchwork. A Memoir (Hardcover)
Marilyn Coffey's work is simply wonderful. Every Nebraska history classroom should consider purchasing this book. As a Master Alumnus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Coffey holds a M.F.A in creative writing. Her use of adjectives is captivating in this 186 page read. The photos provided by the Nebraska State Historical Society add a clever touch. Every Husker fan should definitely read Great Plains Patchwork by Coffey.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Can't Put Down Read!, May 31, 2008
Marilyn Coffey's work is one that should be in every Nebraska history classroom. It is terrific for all ages. As a Master Alumnus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Coffey holds a M.F.A. in creative writing. She uses the skills learned to capture the reader's attention in this "hard to put down" read of 186 pages. Pictures paint a thousand words. I especially loved the unique photos courtesy of the Nebraska State Historical Society. Every true blooded Husker or former Husker needs to read Great Plains Patchwork by Coffey.
