An Excellent Insight! March 7, 2006
Format:Hardcover
Excellent read! Incredible insight! Humorous! Lively! I think that Emily Barr illustrates very well the difficulties, pleasures and challenges and of packing up one's life and moving to a foreign country - An enticing story of overcoming challenges, facing new obstacles, and restarting one's life in a new environment. As someone who picked up her life and moved to France, I think its gives great insight into what to expect! I would especially recommend this book to anyone thinking of starting over in a foreign place orn to those who have already done so. Plan B illustrates the bittersweetness of this type of major move!

I'd love to see this book made into a movie!

As the reviewer above me said, it's a really interesting tale of moving countries and all the trials and challenges that go along with it, specially when you're not the one that wanted the move.

Just as you start to settle into the story, there comes one of Emily Barr's great plot twists, to begin with, it annoyed me to be honest, it meant the story wasn't going to go the way "I wanted"... but once again, she was right to tell the tale her way.

A great read
