This video has been taken when my son was 12 months old. We bought it for his first birthday and he fell in love with it! He is 27 months old and he rides it at least once a day since then. My son is a very active kid and he rides it pretty brave as you see on the video. You see the base of the horse is very safe, it is very unlikely that the kid would fall down, if my son did not fall down, no kid would. The riding sound is very actual, it sounds like a horse walks on the asphalt. It is a very durable toy that even I tried to ride it and it actually carried me easily. Only one thing happened so far (we own it for almost 1,5 years), one of the handles (well, horse ear I guess) came loose, not a big deal, no safety hazard or something. My husband fixed it anyways and my son still enjoys it! I will keep it, so that my grandchildren will enjoy it in the future. (Oh by the way, glad that we bought it just for $45 when it was on sale on Amazon!!!) I definitely recommend it.

This wooden horse is a wonderful find! It was easily assembled and the quality is awesome. My two-year old daughter loves it. It is also very sturdy and stable. She gets rocking on it pretty hard and it rolls up on the rounded base, but has never flipped. I like that it has a gliding motion rather than being on the typical wooden rockers. A highly recommended toy.

The title says it all. Kid loves to ride it (many times every day), I love to look at it. He really gets it going, and always has a giant smile on his face. Couldn't be happier. I'd recommend it to friends (or to folks just passing on the street, for that matter).

This was a santa present for my 20 month old daughter. She absolutley enjoys rocking on this horse. It is a very good looking toy and is made well.

My husband and I saw this beautifully constructed horse at the Marbles Children's Museum in North Carolina and instantly fell in love. At that time our daughter was 3 months old and the price was steep ($125). When we got home from the trip, I put the horse on an Amazon Wish list to keep it in mind for future gift ideas. This Christmas my husband wanted to get it for our daughter, now 10 months. The recommended age is 2 1/2 so I didn't feel it was appropriate, but he persisted. Luckily, the horse was on sale at half price (!!!!!) AND she love it! She quickly caught onto how to rock the horse and she has a great time on it. Needs physical assistance from us to get on and off for now. We also supervise closely for that reason. I have a feeling that if we'd actually waited until 2 1/2 to buy this, she would be aging out of it. Glad we got it early!

High quality toy. Our twins (14 months) love it even though they are a little young for it. Assembly was easy.

My son is loving his new horse. I got it for him at 12 months but i know he will be using it for a long time. The price on amazon was the best I found.

We recently received this as a gift for my two year old daughter. Plan Toys makes very well made toys and this is no exception- very well constructed! My daughter loves to ride on it- unfortunately it flipped over today and launched her right off the front. Very disappointed in this- I don't think we can use it anymore because it's not safe. My daughter is not the most active 2-year old and she managed to flip it over. As much as I want to like this toy- it's not safe and you should not buy it.

My son is almost 2 and he lives this horse. It is very durable and the fact that it swings back and forth makes it a lot of fun.
