How can I convince you that this is hands-down the best toy fridge on the market??? IT IS!!! We have had this fridge for a year now and I love it more today than the first day we opened it. My children love its simplicity, color, design etc. We have this toy, the cooktop, and the dishwasher/sink. These are expensive pieces, but they are gorgeous and the rubber wood with non-toxic paint has held up repeatedly to regular play of my kids. And they really play with these toys EVERY DAY. I have a lot of toys from Plan Toys and I love them. I would have a whole house full of them if I could. The best part is that my kids love them too. These are heirloom toys that you grandchildren will play with and that children will fight over when you are gone. You will not regret this purchase.

I love this brand for my daughter. Quality is great and she really enjoys putting her wooden fruits, veggies and bottles (and everything she can find) in the fridge.

I searched high and low and checked out just about every wooden play refrigerator on the market for the perfect one for my 2-1/2-year-old. This little fridge from Plan Toys was the clear winner. The construction is sturdy, solid, and appears very durable, and the rounded corners are a plus. The shelves are sturdy enough to hold all of my daughter's wooden toy foods, and since they are not removable, they will hold up to years of play. Although this is more expensive than the other fridges I checked out, I think the quality makes it well worth the extra cost.

The only drawback with the specific fridge I received is that there is a small splinter of wood sticking out of the fridge door handle, but some light sanding ought to take care of this.

The ice cube dispenser is so cute and cleverly constructed. Four small ice cubes come with this, but just be careful to keep track of them because their small size could be a slight safety issue with young children -- not to mention easy to lose.

I think the door closures are clever as well, although the freezer latch is a bit snug and difficult for my daughter to open by herself. With time, however, I believe it will loosen up.

The color is a more muted blue, not the bright royal blue that I see on my computer screen here, but it is both colorful and an attractive enough shade that will not overpower the whole room. I have seen that Land of Nod also offers their own exclusive version of this fridge in red, which I considered, but I am pleased with the blue.

Another added plus is that this fridge comes delivered already assembled -- so no tools, sweat, blood or tears required! Amazon delivered it packaged in its manufacturer's box (which is very well packaged -- bubble wrap protecting the top and bottom, and extra cardboard packing pieces to keep it from getting jostled) packed inside an outer shipping box that was also well padded with packing paper. No damage, no dings. Wonderful!

This is a very small scale, wobbly, and poor construction product. The doors do not close well. I bought all of them for a complete kitchen and it is horrible. For the opening windows there is no plastic so there is actually no need to have a door at all. The sink bin is a cheap low quality metal bowl that you could not even use as a mixer. It was dented withing the first 30 minutes in regular play.
The microwave door is held together with string, crazy! The dishwasher component is combined with the sink and it fold downward, so the kids get to stand on it! Dumb designer!
I would never ever ever buy this product if I were you, and it is still expensive!
They are all small scale and easily dipped over.
