When I got the box I thought, "how is there 50 pieces in there??" While the set is small, it is SO MUCH fun. My son's interest in blocks has really really picked up since we've acquired this set. I didn't think that smaller pieces were actually better for little hands, duh! We've played with these everyday since we've gotten them. Happy I invested in a 'green' company, feel good about my purchase.

Love everything PlanToys because they are an eco-friendly company. These are great blocks, love that some are painted(with non toxic paint), love that most are natural, made of rubber wood. My son received these for his 1st birthday. They are smaller than most of his other blocks and he tends to bite these. More appropriate for a 2 year old.

We bought these blocks for our daughter's second birthday as a gift and have found that we love playing with them as mch as she does! These will be providing entertainment for many, many years to come. Quality is excellent, packaging minimal. Everything we have from Plan Toys is superb....
