What a great toy for pre-schoolers or early elementary aged children! The wooden structure is well-made and not difficult to put together. My grandson loved it and the extra airplane and helicopter I ordered.

I just got this from Amazon because on top of it being cheaper than other online stores I got free shipping on it. Unfortunatelly my little guy is not old enough for it yet. I guess I got a little too excited about it since I have been so pleased with two other toddler Plan Toys we've gotten for him. For now it looks very cool sitting on top of my son's bookcase. I really hope he likes playing with it in the future because I would love to get him more Plan City toys.

The wood surfaces are very soft and well finished.
It has little painted details (not decaled like plastic toys) like arrows pointing to "baggage," "departure" and "arrival."
Baggage belt and elevator can be hand cranked.
Easy to assemble with a drill or Phillips screw driver.
Simple but very cool.
Not much more expensive than similar playsets made of plastic.
Can be used with Hot Wheels or other matchbox cars.

The only negative thing might be that the blue top is dense foam so a younger sibling might be prone to damaging it.

Assembly: Takes about 10minutes, few screws and fits together easily, in addition the instructions are in English and easy to understand.

Quality: Very good, and the detail is amazing.

Play: My 2 year year old loves it, and it will be a fun time for years.

Love this toy. It was a 2nd birthday present and our son has played with it daily. Sometimes at the airport, sometimes taking the little people to breakfast, sometimes flying them around the bedroom. The moving (you have to turn it) conveyor belt is a bonus since we didn't realize it could turn. And the elevator is great. Our son loves to help the man check the time on the monitor before heading out to see the plane landing. Only difference from the picture is that our plane was all orange, not orange and white. The quality and detailing are fantastic even though it is a 'simple' toy leaving so much to the child's imagination. Recommend getting the helicopter and extra plane, because then you have twice as many little people too!
And with plan toys being eco friendly, very happy with this toy.

My sons love this and the parking garage. They use it to make cities, to play with dinosaurs and action figures. I strongly prefer wooden toys to plastic when practical. Look for a sale price.
