Product Description

From the Manufacturer

This amazing toy is a 3-D puzzle, sorter, and pull toy, all in one! Children can reassemble the train by matching the pieces according to corresponding shapes. When it is all built back up, kids can use it as a pull toy. This hardwood pull toy is beautifully crafted, and will stand up to years and years of play. Rubberwood is used to make toys that are bright, colorful and are good for the environment. In the past, rubber trees that were no longer producing latex would be burned. Now, these abandoned trees are utilized to make sustainable playthings.

Product Description

Shape and sort features let this toy become a train which can be used as a pull toy.

Playtime Ideas:

  • Children can sort shapes into the spaces provided on the train by matching shapes with corresponding spaces. This helps children learn how to solve problems through trial and error.
  • Children can reassemble the train by matching the pieces according to corresponding shapes and spaces.
  • Children can pull the sorting bus wherever they desire using the attached cord. Helps children develop good hand-eye coordination.

4.0 out of 5 stars nicely made, colorful April 22, 2007

i bought this as a gift for a 1 yo baby boy, but looked at it before we gave it away. it seems great as a sorting toy, but not as a pulling toy since the pieces just sit loosely on top of each other and fall apart easily. very nice wooden construction though!

3.0 out of 5 stars Falls apart too easily October 14, 2011
Durability: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
It is of great quality and a good looking toy and it is put together in a very clever way by matching colors and shapes. I love the puzzle aspects of the toy, and that would have been 5 stars. However, forget about play in terms of rolling or pulling. The pieces stack very loosely, so any motion knocks over the pieces which is frustrating even for the adult watching. Debated between 3 stars or 4 because it is good quality and has a great educational concept. But went with 3 stars because even if it is not used as a pull toy or a push toy, and used as just a plain puzzle stacker, you can't easily pick it up to move from one spot to another without a piece or two falling.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Toy That Will Last For Years February 9, 2008
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My 14 month old son received this as a gift for Christmas and has absolutely loved breaking it apart and putting it back together (with a little help). Unlike the cheap and possibly harmful toys that are designed with little concern for childhood development, this toy is durable and we love that the paints are vegetable based. The train was just one of several Plan Toys that we now own and I would definitely recommend this product for any young child. And parents can have a little piece of mind, too.
