This is a nice quality set and I like that it is ecofriendly. The amount of train track significantly exceeds the amount of road for cars and trucks, and I would have preferred it the other way around as we have a lot of train track in the house already. I would recommend the purchase of additional roadway if that is part of the attraction for your children.

This set is awesome fun! It was purchased as a gift for my son's 2nd birthday. He loves trains and loves this set. Obviously, he is a bit young to assemble the bridges and other complex track arrangements, but it doesn't matter. He still loves it.

I think the design of the entire set is excellent. The pieces are much better looking and more realistic than the other brands of wooden trains. I also love the many additional pieces and sets than can be purchased as an add-on as my son grows.

My only concern is that the paint on the vehicles is already coming off after only 2 days of use. Given the price and brand reputation, I expected better. I would still recommend this product, but a one star deduction was warranted.
