This is an exceptional product! I love products that are carefully and attractively designed like this - products that blend form and function in the perfect way.

Seems silly to get excited about a monitor stand? But I am delighted with this - possibly even more so than I am about the 2nd monitor I bought it for.

I have a 20" and a 22" monitors set up on it (though it could support larger, I'm sure because there is significant additional space on the support arms).

Configuration is very stable - this is a heavy duty product. But at the same time, the stand is very elegantly designed and of superior quality. Looks very polished and professional from every angle.

There is lots of flexibility to adjust arrangement of screens - much more than I anticipated given comments from some people. You can move screens up / down on main support bar and in / out on each support arm. I'm finding lots of room in both these directions.

As well, you can tilt monitors quite far on their individual connetors - much, much further than i could with the orginal stands the monitors came with. By tilt, I mean both side-to-side and up-and-down (or forward/back, however is the right way to say it).

And you can rotate each monitor 90 degrees or so if you want one or both monitors vertical (mine are both horizontal, but out of curiousity, I confirmed you can fully rotate both of them).

I found assembly also pretty easy, including the part about connecting both screens single-handedly which some people described as very difficult. I did not find it so. Everything went together very nicely - and demonstrated how cleanly designed this product is.

Note: I did not buy this product on Amazon because I did not see pictures for it.

This is a well built dual-monitor stand. However, the stated specifications that the stan can accommodate dual 24" monitors is not entirely accurate. I bought the stand to hold up 2 Viewsonic 24" wide screen monitors. When I attempted to connect the monitors to the stand I discovered, to my dismay, that the horizontal arms of the stand could not expand outward enough to connect the monitors. I then returned the stand because it was useless to me.

(3 month update) Everything written below still holds true. This is a solid stand and I couldn't be happier.

I just received the stand today and and wanted to provide some insight and answers to concerns I could not find addressed in other reviews or the product description. My main concern was I was going to be using this to mount a Dell 2330 All-In-One weighing in at a whopping 22.5 lbs and a ViewSonic 2342 weighing in at a wee 5 lbs. The frame of the ViewSonic is also slightly smaller than the Dell so I wanted to be able to adjust the height so the screens were at the same level.

To start, it turns out that the stand will hold two screens of greatly varying weight. I have found that I can more easily tip the stand to the side holding the 22 lb Dell but it takes a great deal of effort to tip it toward the much lighter ViewSonic. Just to be clear though, the stand does not tip to the heavier Dell side by itself- only if you intentionally try to tip it that direction. I've bumped it, moved it and wiggled the table and the stand remained stable.

Next, while the stand is constructed of metal, weight-wise it's not heavy in any way. As for quality, the pieces and functionality of this entire stand are impressively solid and I had both monitors mounted and operational within 15 minutes of unpacking. Every adjustment of the arms can be done individually. Each arm swings easily toward and away from you and both can be adjusted straight up and down the mounting pole for varying heights. On the arms are the VESA mounts which can be slid left or right for width and turned to orient the screens to landscape and/or portrait positions. The same VESA mounts also allow for tilting up and down and side to side.

OK, style wise it looks good.
Assembly? Easy to put together.

Problems?
- mine came missing the allen wrench - luckily I had one that fit.
- It wobbled a bit - not a lot but wasn't 100% secure.
- I have two Dell u2410 monitors. The stands that come with them raise the monitors higher than this dual mount.

Overall - if you have monitors with some of the stands that basically only lift your monitor an inch or two this is an improvement and looks decent. But I wasn't willing to lower my monitors to use this stand.

This is a great item. I use it to hold a Viewsonic 24in and Dell 24 in monitor. Good and sturdy. You might need a second person to help add both monitors to make it easier...would recommend this for a 2 monitor setup.

I purchased this monitor stand at the beginning of March '13 and have been using it for a little over 2 weeks. I was looking to replaced the flimsy factory monitor stands with some thing sturdy but also wanted to free up some desk space. I spent several days looking at different monitor stands on Amazon and found the pricing and features of the Planar stand worth the extra few dollars (cable management and the stand design in my case).

I spent a considerable amount of time reading the product reviews for the Planar stand & the Mon Mount stand because I was concerned with mounting two 24" screens onto the stand and ending up having a 48"+ of screen space (180 degrees) to look across if I wasn't able to angle the monitors a little. In addition, little features like the ability to slide the monitors independently if I wasn't mounting two of the same sized monitors. Compared to the Mon Mount stand which have fixed points on the mounting arms it leaves you with the only one option and that is to angle them closer together to form an acute angle with the monitors positioned closer to the front to make up for the difference.

I've mounted two 24" ASUS VN247H-P Widescreen LED monitors to the Planar stand the day I received it and cannot be more pleased with the outcome. Installation was simple and straight forward. I have plenty of room to angle the monitors (~165-170 degrees) makes it easier on the eyes. My main use for the dual monitor stand is gaming and work. Like other reviewers have mentioned, make sure if you are doing this alone to lay your monitors on the ground to install the mounting plates to the mounting arms. (Please view the images I have uploaded to see what I'm talking about). All-in-all this stand exceeded my expectations and has very good build quality despite the simplistic packaging.
