This charming picture book (no text) depicts the dilemma of a little mouse trapped in a book and his ingenious solution. The illustrations are lovely. My older children love to return to this book, even though they are readers now.

This imaginative, sweet book had my boys turning pages quickly to see what exactly mouse was doing with the page he tore from the book. They had fun making predictions of what would come next. Unfortunately, it has not held the same level of interest for subsequent re-readings - for them, the fun was soley in seeing what would come next. The illustrations are sweet and charming, though, and I think many children would find this book worth another look.
