5.0 out of 5 stars Engineering fun, January 21, 2011
This review is from: 30 Planes for the Paper Pilot (Paperback)
I've had this book for going on 20+ years now and it's still great. Recently there has been a paper airplane craze going through my son's school, so I get this book out. A perfect combo of origami and science it will get you making some of the most interesting and best flying planes out there. Please note that there are different planes for indoor and out, high apartment window and other low wind situations. Hours and hours of fun, I'm surprised this book isn't more popular than it would appear. I guess people are just jaded in this electronic age.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book for paper airplanes, June 23, 2008
I bought this book years ago and still have fun with the planes in this book. In fact I have one at work that takes and annual flight through the office. Make sure you buy some card stock because the cooler planes need the stiffer paper. I tried very unsuccessfully to make regular paper work. Also you will need some straws. Those were my favorite ones!

Only problem with some of these planes is the overall technical ability you need to make them. You have to be very precise, but you have ones to grow into.
