Good basic airplane book
Based mostly on the specs of a Boeing 747, this book is as much about the mechanics of an airport as it is about the actual airplane. It is a good primer for the young traveler. With the glossary and the web links at the end of the book, it allows for playing up an upcoming first trip and following up the trip with helpful information and activities.

Poor book condition
I ordered this book along with other 4 more. For my surprise it came in a very bad condition. First of all, it is not hard cover like the others. Also, the cover and some pages are crushed. It is the first time this happens to me while buying in Amazon.
