This is my second multimedia head unit. I bought this a month ago in an attempt to bypass the big brands high prices. I have had no major problems out of it so far. I love that it has front sd, aux, and usb inputs. I would have made more since to combine usb and sd into one to avoid having to use an adapter cable especially since you access sd through usb in the head unit. With everything packed into the face of a single din there is no room for next/previous buttons so you either have to use the remote or touchscreen. The remote sensor is located above the volume button so it has to be held up at that level. The unit is slow switching between modes and cuts the the volume down before cuting it off and vice versa. Lastly, when the unit is switched off the repeat setting is lost. To me all of these problems are negligible. For less than $300 it is a good value for a multimedia player with everything accept Nav. Unfortunately usability and navigation can't compare to a pioneer.

The reason why I bought this flipout is because I know that planet audio is a great company...well here's the pros, it has a great picture, as soon as I took it out of the box and hooked it up it workd on the first try, the touch screen function is properly calibrated, the remote works wonders, the blue tooth option is oustanding easy to use and allows me to play music that's on my phone and alerts me with incomming phone calls and when I hang up it goes right to were I left off on my song, overall its easy to use and has never let me down mechanically. But the cons are, I love subwoofers and this product has not one sub setting, I tried to use an sd card and this d*** thing won't work keeps telling me can't read card bought 4 brand new cards still didn't work, the usb insert on the front is useless to me most ppl incl me has an ipodthere is no spot for an ipod therfor I'm pretty upset my ipod is useless now. And the rediculously stupid so called anti theft detachment is incredibly dumb once you remove it it still works as if you hadn't removed it at all. Overall this product works ok and does do the job but ppl if you have the money to even look at an indash tv assesory just spend about a hundred more dollars and get a pioneer yess they are expensive which is why I got this planet audio for 209 but pioneers have so much more audio settings and have more attachments.
