The Planet Bag is a heavyweight 100% cotton shopping bag designed to be used instead of plastic or paper bags at the grocery store checkout.

-Natural 100% Cotton Canvas, no environmentally harmful dyes or bleaches.
-The Planet Bag is made of 100% Natural Cotton, not Synthetic Polypropylene (plastic) cloth or Nylon. Synthetic fabrics are made from oil and do not biodegrade. Why replace plastic with more plastic? Use only real 100% cotton bags instead. Both organic and inorganic cotton are biodegradable.
*Inches Matter!*
Though it does not sound like a lot of difference, take a look at the photo to compare a 13 x 14 no gusset bag with The Planet Bag 18 x 15 x 3.5 bottom gusset!
*Extra Long Woven Handles*
Extra Long 28 in handles designed for shoulder carry. Can also be tied for hand carry.
Rugged woven handles, not just stitched self-fabric. Handles take the most wear and there's no stitching to come loose, even when used daily.
*Machine Washable*
The Planet Bag can be spot cleaned, or washed in the machine on delicate cycle, cold water. Hang to Dry. As it is 100% cotton, some shrinking will occur (10-15%), but The Planet Bag will stretch back out upon future use.

I am really pleased with The Planet Bag. I can't believe how much they hold. I shop for a family of five and can fit almost all of my weekly shopping trip in the six bags. I do find the straps to be a little long, when the bag is loaded it can be heavy and hard to lift with the long strap. So I tied a knot on the top of the straps.
And I am always happy to do what I can to help our world for our children.

great product, finally low enough cost so a normal person can buy enough for a whole shopping trip. best customer service i've ever experienced....EVER. long straps make my little self able to load up like a donkey and bring all the bags inside in one trip. I've told all my friends and family.

I have used these bags now for about four months and they are wonderful. I love the long handles because I can carry the bags over my shoulder. I can carry several bags at once without a problem and the weight is distributed better over my shoulders and back than when carrying the traditional way hanging down in your hands. The design is cute and they are very sturdy. The big boxy shape fits practically any size product and I have used them at all the stores I shop at, not just grocery. All this and I am helping the future of our planet! I would highly recommend these bags.
