You can't tell from the picture how to install this fender so I was a little hesitate to purchase one. Once I received it I found that installation was not only easy (took me about 10 minutes) but it would fit a number of fork sizes. It attaches to the hole in the bottom of the fork and a Allen screw secures it.

I do a combination of street and dirt riding on my bike and this fender stays on even under the worst of conditions. Easy to clean and remove yet stable and keeps the dirt and debris off your face. I can recommend this product to anyone.

A bit shorter overall than I had thought, plenty of adapters for different bikes, has not come loose except when I flip the switch to remove it despite 180+ degree handle bar movements slamming it against the frame and vibrations from a motorized bike and other abusive contacts.

This bicycle fender works great for use during the winter in the wet weather and can be easily placed onto the front of the bike and just as easily removed for summertime use.

If your tube has a slight taper (where the opening is a little larger than the inner part of the tube), then this will not work. The mount works by expanding inside the tube and with an outward taper, it does not matter how tight you make it, it will pop out. A bad design.
Now, if you have a reverse taper to the tube (smaller opening than the inside of the tube), then this would work ok. But, out of the 12 bikes I looked at (after discovering this problem), none of them had a reverse taper. In fact, all of them had a slightly larger opening like my bike.
I even tried drilling holes through my tube through the mount, but that didn't work either.

I wanted a fender for the front wheel of my hybrid bicycle. This works perfectly for my needs. No more splashing water and mud off my front tire.

In the winter I commute on a single speed 29er mountain bike. I added this fender to the bottom of my fork, installation was easy. The fender sways ever so slightly when riding, nothing to discourage me from purchasing again. Overall not bad, keeps the city filth off of me when the rains hit.

Installed easily. Once installed the switch to take the fender on/off works perfect. On my shocks the fender hits the tire if the shocks fully compress. I could see breaking it off on a big hit. Just dialed down the shocks a little and have had no problems.
