5.0 out of 5 stars TERRIFIC DANCE/POP From Sweden, September 7, 2002

This review is from: Planet Colors (Audio CD)
This is the latest (7th) album (from 2001) by DJ Bobo, the man who (along with his partner AXEL BREITUNG) have been bringing us AMAZING EURO-DANCE/POP music for almost 10 years now.

If you like GREAT, CATCHY MELODIES and AWESOME BEATS, then you should deffinitely get this album. All songs are Great, and the album could be listened to from track 1 to 13 without skipping any songs. If you are a fan of a GOOD MELODIE, then this album would definitely be a real Treat to You.

The album delivers us 13 INCREDIBLE songs (there is a hidden track), 12 of which are ORIGINAL COMPOSITIONS. Track #2 (What a Feeling) is a cover of an 80's smash hit By Irene Cara (from "Flashdance" movie). I am not a big fan of cover-songs, but "What A Feeling" was a GREAT song in the 80's, and still is today in the new millenium. It is a great pick for a cover song.

If you like music by ACE OF BASE, BACKSTREET BOYS, BRITNEY SPEARS,MADONNA, JANET JACKSON, DA BUZZ, or SONIC DREAM (or if you like Eurodance/Pop genre as a whole) then you MUST get this album.

DANCE is the main style of the album. There are two SLOW BALLADS on this album. "Tell Me Why" (#10) is a LOVE BALLAD, that still retains a nice Euro-Beat. It has a VERY BEAUTIFUL MELODIE and is actually one of my EXTRA-favorite songs on this CD (all songs are my favorite). #12 "Time To Turn Off The Light" is the second Slow Ballad, also very beautiful.

"Moscow" has some Trance sound in it, VERY COOL, BOBO is keeping up with the changing times.
"Man in the Mirror" has a great Beat and Melodie, and Lyrics are very meaningful.
The rest of the tracks also provide us with AMAZING Melodies and Beats that only Europeans could create.

The hidden track (#13) is the one TRUE Eurodance song on this album (others are more Pop). It has very powerful female vocals and that INCREDIBLE melodie that Eurodance is famous for.

This is a truly GREAT album form this master of DANCE/POP music, and is a great addition to any good music collection. Also check out previous 6 DJ BOBO albums. They are all Great.

It is very nice to see DJ BOBO still releasing great music, and I hope he and AXEL BREITUNG continue to do so for a long time. I just wish he was more popular here in U.S.
Enjoy.

If you like Dj Bobo, you will like this album. Another solid efford by Bobo. The cd includes hits like Colors Of Life, Let The Party Begin, What A Feeling, Hard To Say I Am Sorry, Way To Your Heart, Dreaming Of You, Say It Again. Ok, that's 7 songs out of 12 that were on the charts in different countries around the world. Must not a bad album, eh? The two most popular hits from the album are Colors Of Life and What A Feeling. Both are great tracks that are worth to buy the album for. Enjoy!
