Not Bad, Better Than I Was Expecting,
By Margarine Hype "Spin Doctor" (Cavernous Churn, IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Planet Crucon (Audio CD)
Considering Crucial hasn't released an album in ten years, I really wasn't expecting much. When I heard this album I was pleasantly surprised. This is actually pretty good. Crucial has managed to regain their flow.
Having said that, this album is NOT anywhere near as good as "Good Side, Bad Side", which in my own humble opinion is one of the best rap/hip-hop albums ever. What you have to consider here is how other groups from their "Hay" day sound now. Wu, Bone, Three 6, their all kinda strugglin and haven't really put out anything that great lately. This album, for what it is, is pretty damn good.

THEIR BEST ALBUM!,
By Rico W. "Rico W." (L.A.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Planet Crucon (Audio CD)
I have to say I was kinda shaky on how this album would come out after them being gone for a gooood minute...but this album here by far has to be the best Crucial Conflict album. Not only do they all sound the same as when they were in their prime, but they've even enhanced their skills. There is only ONE song that I do skip, but this here cd is a "press play" and walk away cd. This review is coming from a Bone Thugs, Do or Die, Twista fan...you gotta have the ear for it. Crucial Conflict please don't go to dark again, and make another cd really soon!!!

Not Bad For A Group Once MIA,

This review is from: Planet Crucon (Audio CD)
As a casual fan of Crucial Conflict in their hey day, I went at this CD with no expectations. I came away pleasantly surprised. There are a few filler tracks, but overall Hip Hop fans should be able to appreciate the versatility and overall feel of the record. For the most part, these guys put solid songs together. What they lack in lyrical content they make up for in presentation and delivery.
