Product Description

Color: Green

Clearly engaging, clearly rewarding, clearly fun. The fresh take on the stimulating puzzle craze. The interactive brain teaser is designed for long-lasting play. With a pliable, orbee-tuff outer shell, and unique inner maze. Stuff with planet dog eats and enjoy. This toy is intended for puzzle-play, not chewing, so it is not rated on The chew-o-meter scale. To clean, fill with hot water, shake vigorously and rinse.

This is the first dog treat "puzzle" that keeps our terrier busy for a long time.

This ball is big, so is the maze and the hole that the treats fall out of, so you have to put a very large treat in it that will challenge your dog.

The outer ball is soft but the inside is hard plastic which would probably break if you stepped on it.

The material that they use to make this toy is a sticky type of plastic. It collects TONS of dirt and hair from allover when my dog rolls it on the ground. It is also way too easy to get the treat out of it. It is not worth the pricetag it comes with in my opinion.

Unlike previous reviewers, I think this toy is fantastic in certain circumstances. I have recommended it to quite a few of my dog-training clients, and it was an instant favorite with my own German Shepherd (no small dog). What the previous reviewers say is true: this toy is not chew-proof by any means, so unless your dog ignores it once the treats are gone (which many dogs will), put it away once the game is over. That said, this toy is PERFECT for dogs who will benefit from an interactive toy and who need the encouragement provided by a toy that dispenses treats rather easily. I use this a lot with dogs who lack confidence, are not highly food-motivated, or lack "drive," for example. Do not use with wet treats, as you will never get the insides truly clean; I recommend Bravo freeze-dried training treats, Charlee Bear treats, pieces of dry kibble, etc. One of my favorite aspects of this interactive toy is that, besides being conveniently clear so you can see when the treats are gone, the outer ball is SOFT--which is easy on the dog's teeth and QUIET as it rolls across the floor, which is a real boon for anyone with wood floors and/or downstairs neighbors. Fill it, play with it, then put it away for next time. My dog gets excited as soon as I pull it out of the cupboard!

I was terribly dissapointed, upon opening my package, to find that the clear portion of this is rubber (or silicone). It's not taut like an inflated ball, it's more wobbly and stretchy than I ever would have expected. Either of my dogs would tear this apart to get to the treats inside instead of rolling it around the floor. Maybe it'd work for an older dog or one too small to really get his jaws around this but I'm returning it for sure!!

I love the idea of this puzzle toy but, I was disappointed to know that the clear part is a silicone rubber....Very easy for my dog to chew up, every time she tries to chew on it I have to stop her. She did figure out that she has to roll it to get the treats out. I wish the clear part was a hard plastic. I like the puzzle though, the idea of the different levels of edges to block the treats is cool! I am hoping it last for a while.

see my pic above.

my lab/dobe mix loved this toy. it immediately became her favorite! she loved rolling it around and working that treat out. with the right treat, it would keep her occupied for quite some time. However, it really only lasted about 4 wks until she became inpatient and ripped the green plastic maze right out of the rubber ball. She is a very strong chewer (when she wants to be) and is extremely intelligent. I also bought her one of the advanced tornado puzzles, which she solved in less than 5 min. I agree with another poster that if the toy had a tougher/harder outer ball, it would be much better!!! oh well!

Our pup loves this ball, he figured it out and spends a while working with it to get treats. He pushes it around with his nose and loves getting the treats out. Once he's done getting all the treats he plays with it like a regular ball and loves having me throw it because it bounces and rolls really well, but it's a bit bigger than his usual tennis balls. He can also pick it up by putting his teeth in the bigger hole and carrying in around with him.

My only suggestion would be that it would be great if it came with a plug for the bigger hole so that we could use small kibble or treats that fall through the little hole. Right now we just tape over the big hole if the treats are too small. It would also be great for washing since I often just have to rinse off the carpet and saliva guck and I don't want the inside getting all wet.

One of our Shih Tzus was fascinated with the orbee-tuff mazee and played with it for about an hour. Our other Shih Tzu got frustrated and walked away after 15 minutes. I saw a picture on Amazon of a chewed up mazee. My dogs don't chew their plastic/rubber toys. So if your dog is a chewer this might not work for you.

This toy is one if the best dog toys I have bought! You have to get small biscuits do the treats won't fall out. But if you get the right size, it creates hours of fun and a challenging game for your dog. My dig loves this treat ball and jumps with excitement when she sees me fill it. I can fit as many as 5 biscuits in there, keeping her entertained for hours.
