Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff Football

I bought the football last Christmas for my then 2 year old golden retriever. Very few toys survive her chewing but the football is still completely intact. She loves the bounce it has when we throw it across the room for her. When she's done chasing it she will usually settle down with it and chew away but she is unable to put even the smallest hole in it. I would have to say this is the best money I have ever spent on a dog toy and I am planning on getting her a couple more Orbee-Tuff toys for Christmas this year. I never thought I would find a dog toy that would still be in the same shape a year later. Very impressed.

I don't know what this stuff is made from, but it is AWESOME!! And completely INDESTRUCTIBLE! When I opened the box and saw how soft and flexible it was I thought for sure my chessie's would have it gone in one chomp...almost a week later and its still in one piece!! Not a single solitary knick, crack, or nibble has been removed from this ball. Orbee-Tuff balls are THEE balls to get for overly agressive chewers or just plain old destructo mutts (like mine!). I also love that these balls are made from non-toxic ingredients, so I feel a lot safer giving them to my two dogs. All I know is, I will be making many recurring purchases for Orbee toys, forget Kong and Nylabone...THANK YOU Orbee for giving me hours of piece and quiet!!! Along with hours of fun for my dogs!!!

MY DOG LOVES HIS FOOTBALL. ORBEE-TUFF DOES VERY WELL AT MAKING A CHEW TOY THAT ACTUALLY LASTS LONGER THAN FEW DAYS. MY LAB PUPPY LOVES TO CHEW AND THIS IS ONE THAT REALLY DOES LAST FOREVER. ALSO LIKE HOW IT BOUNCES JUST LIKE A FOOTBALL.

I got this for my 4 month old Berner. He chews through everything. He also has a sensitve stomach, so alot of chew treats and fillable toys are not the best for him. He loves this football,fun to play and fun to chew. He loves carrying it around and throwing it up in the air then chasing after it. It bounces in all kinds of directions and hes a riot to watch chasing it. When he does settle down to chew it, it doesn't fall apart like so many other toys. It still looks brand new without even a scratch. He has had it about a month and I think it will last much longer. YEAH a chew toy thats fun and lasts.


UPDATE
Well it has been almost 3 months. I hate to say it but D's football has been thrown out. For about a month he's been getting little chunks off of it, but the chunks got to large and it had to go. Too bad because he stilled loved playing with it. Back to search for more "indestructible" toys.

I love this football. My rottie loves playing with it and the crazy directions the ball bounces around. It is sooo cute when he has it in his mouth while we watch football. It has lasted a while with a rottie and two other dogs in the house. The first thing that went on the football was the white laces because the dogs nibbled them off, but the structure of the ball has lasted. The price is fair considering you would go through so many toys with rough playing dogs if you buy the cheaper stuff. When the football I have now bites the dust, I will be getting another one.

I've had plenty of toys for my three lab mixes and none of them lasted this long. One of them did end up tearing off the laces of the football, but there's no other tears in it. I was doubting that it would last even a day with my dogs since they have shredded every toy they've had in the past. It's rubbery toy and very flexible, making it hard for my dogs to find that certain spot would would enable them to tear it apart. My only complaint is that it gets very slimey with all the drool.

My 2 yr old golden destroyed the ball in 1 day. She was able to pull it apart at the opening on the tip of the football. She hasn't been able to destroy the Planet Dog snowball, diamond plated ball or glow in the dark orbee. The 5 chomper rating seems to be pretty accurate with these toys. The football was a 4 chomper. The football is a good outdoor retrieving toy, but not good for constant chewing.

My puppy ripped the white stitches off in about 10 minutes but hasn't been able to ruin the ball. Only toy that has been able to stand up to his teeth!

Boo-Boo (85 pound Pit Bull) will be 9 years old next month, and this football is the sturdiest doggie toy he has ever had; we play fetch in our local park's basketball courts; (I try to sink hoops from beyond half court and he gets the rebounds) so far, not a scuff, scratch or bite mark on it; (this is a minor miracle to me) and he gets a great workout every time; (the bounce on this thing is hilarious) Highly recommended!

This is my favorite toy to play with my Daddy. I ripped off the white laces pretty quick, but Mom just threw those away. I haven't been able to tear up my football; Mom says Planet Dog Orbee balls rule!
