Though both products are marketed by the same company, this version is a cheap knockoff of the classy "DCI I Am Not a Paper Cup". Though it initially appears similar, there are easily visible differences. The lid does not have the indentation that makes it more comfortable for your upper lip. On both the Eco Coffee Cups that I received, there are visible defects in the surface. More importantly, this double-walled cup does not have a safety pressure outlet on the bottom, as does "I Am Not a Paper Cup". This would theoretically increase the risk of cracking if you micro-waved contents to a high temperature, as the heated air has no place to expand into. Lid fit is looser than Not a Paper Cup, though I haven't experienced actual leaking. Finally, using a measuring cup, my two cups hold 11 oz., not the advertised 12 oz.

Bottom line: The original item, I Am Not a Paper Cup, is a classy and durable item. It costs a few bucks more. The difference between Eco Cup and the original is clearly an example of "you get what you pay for".

This cup looks like a disposable cup with a lid and sleeve. The sleeve is not like in the picture but is just brown with large bumps. It is ok at keeping coffee warm. Not like a nice vacuum stainless steel cup, but ok. It holds just barely 12 oz. My keurig on the 12 oz. setting fills it to the brim with no room left for cream. I like that it is dishwasher safe. My other travel mugs get full of water in between the layers. I only wish it were spill proof.

I thought it loked really cute and the flexible top was a huge bonus, but once I actually started using it I realized how badly it leaks. Seriously, coffee was pouring out onto my sweater.
This $10 coffee cup ruined my $50 sweater!

Even if it didn't leak, the silicone top smells really stange and completely ruins the coffee.

The lid does not snap on tightly at all. I drink tea each morning on my drive into work, and by the time I got to work I noticed all sorts of stains on my shirt from where this cup leaked. The lid is awful. Don't buy this product.

Well, I got one use out of this cup and my tea got cold surprisingly fast. Though it said it was dishwasher safe, one run through the wash on the top shelf was enough to destroy it. I was very disappointed this morning when I discovered the crack in the bottom of the cup. It is now useless.

What a waste of money!

ETA: I took it back to Walgreens and they gave me a new one. This one is still intact, but I must admit I wish it held more. It also has poor insulation. My tea doesn't stay warm for very long. This is good because the cup kind of burns my hand when I carry hot tea in it to and fro. Still, I'll bump it up to two stars for staying intact. It's good to keep around the office.

ETA: I take it back. I ran the new one through the dishwasher 3 or 4 times and it suffered the same fate. This things CANNOT handle the dishwasher, not even the top shelf. Forget about it.

This cup looks nice and keeps the coffee hot for a little while. The cover is too loose and coffee drips all over your clothes whenever you try to drink from it. Not good for use in the car. Better at home where you have a towel to wipe up the coffee. I would never buy another one.

I originally ordered this product because my father had received one as a gift. However, the lid on our cup does not seal or stay on well. My husband has spilled coffee all down himself a few times and now gave up on using the cup with the lid. I am very disappointed in the product's performance.

First impression is that it looks good. The concept is brilliant too,
and the market is there. But couldn't they have used a pyrex type of glass or
or thin walled heat tempered glass to make it more appealing and light weight? The
rim of the cup against my lips feels too thick. I thought it was porcelain
lightweight instead of ceramic heavyweight. It has a chalky feeling on
the outside. The cup is way too heavy and too thick,
and that seems to take away from the fun.
But I love the idea and will give it as a unique gift rather than use it myself.
