A good buy for little boys.
My oldest son HATES bugs. So when he got this for his birthday, I thought "We'll have to return that." To my surprise, this toy has helped him overcome his fear fo bugs and has even gotten his younger brother to forage outside for bugs with him! They are 8 and 5 and they are in love with this kit! I highly recommend it, even if you think your young one won't use it...

Bug Kit a Big Success
I purchased the CSI Forensic Kit for my 11 year old grandson. He loves bugs and really likes the kit. It is different than other bug collection kits that he has. He and his brother have rid my house and outdoor area of a variety of insects.

I highly recommend it, even if you think your young one won't use it because of their fear of bugs. I say give it a try. It has totally turned my son onto insects and he loves findings all the different ones he can. Great toy!

We purchased this for our granddaughter who wants to be a forensic entomologist. She loves it. The only problem we encountered is that she couldn't understand the instructions. She's now waiting for insects to come out so she can use it.
