The "Product Description" on Amazon's product page says:

"Planet Waves boxwood bridge and end pins are made from high-quality boxwood, which lasts longer than ordinary plastic bridge pins."

If this lead you to believe that these bridge pins are made from wood, you may be surprised to know that they are made from cheap, injection-molded plastic. If plastic pins is all you are looking for, I guess these aren't the worst I've ever seen. If, however, you are looking for better quality wood bridge pins, you will need to look elsewhere.

I ordered these pegs to replace a set that I was currently using in my Seagull AE guitar. Because the guitar is black, I wanted to replace my white pegs with black ones to create a more streamlined look -- it worked! They look marvelous and do a fine job of holding my strings in place.

I did have problems with one peg -- it would not fit correctly into the peghole and thus I had to change pegs in order to make it work. Luckily, the set came with an extra peg and this did not cause a problem for more than three short minutes. All other pegs fit perfectly and have withstood four months of use now with no issues or problems.

Delivery was swift and efficient, and they arrived in pristine condition. No problems! I would certainly order them again.
