This cloth is much thicker than the cloths that come with eyeglasses, which is why it can be used for polishing. It has a nice texture and feel, is well made with stitching around the edges that cheaper cloths lack, and works well for polishing.

It also works nicely to remove smudges and fingerprints from my BlackBerry and iPod Touch, and to clean my glasses and computer screen.

This is a quality cloth that is very useful.

I have 2 of these, 1 i keep on my desk just to wipe off touch screen devices

The other, I keep in my gig bag, for my glossy finish guitars

Both applications work great

I like this cloth because it has a soft cotton like feel, combined with the cleaning power of a micro-fiber.

Overall, good buy, I recommend it!

what else can i say, it does everything it says it will, cleaned up the dust, finger prints, and oils off my guitar in first use! a very good product, if you dont clean your guitar every day like some people do, or maybe not at all, this is a perfect way to keep your guitar going, gets the oil, dust and keeps my Les Paul looking pretty. and it is machine washable, making everything easier on my part. glides across the surface of the guitar making it very easy to clean!

dont buy this product if you want your guitar sparkling, becuase it doesnt, it just cleans it and makes it look new, without the added chemicals and shine of polsihing spray. overall though i WOULD recommend this to a friend, a very great product!!! will buy a gain!

Although I respect the Planet Waves brand (and LOVE my PW string winder), I found this cloth to be largely ineffective in use. I purchased 3 of these to wipe-down my guitars after playing (plus I gave my guitar playing grandsons one as well). None of the cloths did much for removing (or shining)the light, normal smudges. A positive: our guitars weren't scratched during use of same! I'll look elsewhere for a more effective product.

Very soft gray microfiber cleaning cloth. Big and wide enough to handle any guitar. Works great for polishing and buffing guitar finish.

I had been using my Oakley sunglasses case for my iPad and it never cleaned the finger prints off. I also tried a second sunglass cloth and an expensive gun cleaning cloth (unused of course), none of these got the finger print smudges of. This Planet Waves Micro-Fiber does however remove everything off of it and leaves no scratches or smudge swipes. It is just what the doctor ordered! I recommend for iPads, iTouch, iPhone, Samsung tablets, or anything else for that matter for cleaning glass. I just ordered a second one for cleaning glass cockpit screens in my airplane, its perfect.

I bought my first one from Amazon over a month ago - and simply fell in love with it. It cleans/polishes wood, metal (although for strings, I use GHS' Fast Fret), eye-glasses, computer screens, etc with wonderful ability, easily replacing "casual" cleaning/polishing fluids. I even recently bought a 2nd just because. And yes, the first one has finally gone through the wash after a month of constant use- I knew it was time when it wasn't wiping off the smudges as quickly. It came out with a slightly nappy texture (to be expected really), but still works as well as ever. There is a vast amount of different "polish" cloth brands out there, but you won't go wrong with this one.

Erased all fingerprints (and I let my 2.5 yr old play guitar with me, so TONS of little greasy/slimy fingerprints), removed all dust, and gave it a glossy finish. All in about a minute. This cloth works exactly as advertised. It's not going to fix any abrasions or scratches as it is not intended for that. Great little rag to clean your instruments after you play them, or if they've been sitting around collecting dust.

I actually purchased my first polish cloth at a music store for my guitar. This quickly became my go to cloth for cleaning the fingerprints off of my ipad and iphone screens. Nothing better in my opinion...

i got this cloth and a Taylor guitar cloth for about the same price, but i wish i would of just gotten two of these. it works really well and doesn't leave any lint or anything behind.
