5.0 out of 5 stars A Tuning Fork
For something that is easy to carry and accurate there is nothing like a tuning fork. Expensive tuners somehow get lost but a cheap tuning fork is much easier to replace. From a pocket's standpoint. It does what it was made for and still I find it easier and quicker to tune my bass using harmonics.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not pleased with advertising.
I was not pleased because the vendor did not indicate the frequency of the tone of this tuning fork. It is one octave lower than I wanted.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tuning your guitar with ease, March 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I want to recommend this product. The music stores I checked only had tuning forks in the key of A, which is ok, but I like to start tuning my guitars from the low E, and this product was exactly what I wanted.

4.0 out of 5 stars Only the E note, March 18, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Don't fleece yourself by thinking the higher price and different picture (3 forks as opposed to the 1 fork in the other planet waves forks) means you're getting what you see. It's only the E fork, which for some reason is about twice the price of the C fork. And as an unimportant side note, the picture is mislabeled as well. The picture shows the green one as an A, but that one is the E. Anyways, all those things are just little goof-ups on Amazon; the actual product is just fine. Sounds like an E, and is very compact. Tuning forks are quite cool.

5.0 out of 5 stars great little fork!, June 26, 2008
This review is from: Planet Waves PWTFC Tuning Fork (C)
If you want a simple inexpensive tuning fork, this is perfect. I use it for singing purposes and it is exactly what I was looking for. It is an octave lower than some other 'C' tuning forks, which makes it easier for me to get my pitch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Key of A tuning fork, May 23, 2010

Worked good, lasts a long time (the fork not the sound) The sound produced is adaquate for tuning the "A" string on a violin. If that's what you want, it will work and the cost is low.

Ideal for a quick tuning.
Although the shipping costs more than the tuning fork.

What is there to say? It does exactly what a tuning fork is expected to do and it does it well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great!, June 17, 2011

I'm so glad I got this product over an electric tuner. Now I can tune my whole guitar and not have to spend money on batteries. If you can tune by ear go with this product, in the long run it will save you time and money (Period....)
