| Care instructions | To ensure longevity with our products, they should be washed on a Warm/Cold Temperature setting. In addition, high speed washers can be factors in the wear and tear of your product. High speed washers have caused damage to our products when the vigorous spin cycle is used, in addition to the high heat wash of the sanitation cycle that these washers have. Because our products are, in most cases, used daily and washed up to 3 times a week, this is considered normal wear and tear and is not covered in our Warranty. Therefore, wear and tear on our products is not considered a manufacturer defect. Sometimes, you may find that the bag will fill up with water in your wash cycle. You will need to hang the bag, so that the water can drip out of the fabric side of the bag. You can squeeze the water out. You may want to wash the bag again, as dirty water could have been trapped inside and may cause odors, as well. The bags have a waterproof layer with a non-waterproof outer layer, so this is common and not considered a defect. |

After a lot of research Planet Wise has discovered a way to seal the seams so NO liquid can escape, even if you put water into the bag and squeeze! Machine wash and dry with clothes or cloth diapers. My son goes to daycare, and they were a little unsure about using cloth for him at first, but this bag (and Bumgenius AIOs) have convinced them that cloth is no harder than disposables! It meets the state DHEC requirements for them that all soiled clothing must be put into sealed bags and sent home each day. It is a good, generous size for him for a full day at daycare (he goes through anywhere from 5-8 diapers per day, and has room to spare in this bag)
His caregiver likes this bag more than his others. The zipper is easy, doesn't hang up, but her favorite feature is the snap-strap. She can snap it over a drawer handle right at their changing station, which keeps it off the floor and away from curious crawlers. (we use a link for the other one, still works, but this one is better) NO smells escape, so they don't put his bags outside the door, which they thought they would have to do. (the disposables in the pail are outside, and smell worse!)
The outer cloth and inner water-proof bag are two separate layers. When you wash this bag, it sort of goes inside-out and figuring out how to dry it was tricky for me, at first. I figured out that if you put the liner part back into the outer shell, and zip it half-way, you can just toss it in the dryer on medium (how I dry the diapers), or just hang it on the line outside, with the handy snap-strap handle!
Awesome wet bag! I have 6, and always reach for this one first! My absolute favorite, hands down!!!

This bag is well made and holds moisture in well. However, when it says that it's 8x10, that must be before they sewed it together. My bag is more like 6.5x8.5 and BARELY holds two wet prefolds. If I used pocket diapers and had to put the cover in as well I doubt it would hold 2. It's fine for quick trip to meet friends for lunch or go to the park for an hour, but definitely get the medium if you think you might need to store more than one soiled diaper.

I didn't purchase this one here, but only because Amazon didn't carry them when I bought mine. I love this bag! It's the perfect size for the diaper bag. I also have the larger one with a handle to hang on the doorknob. Planet Wise makes a mighty good wetbag. I've never had a problem with leaking. I dry mine in the dryer each time, and it dries quickly without showing signs of wear and tear. I own the black & white swirl design and it looks exactly like the picture. I like that these bags ZIP instead of just having a drawstring--I feel like smells are totally contained that way. This bag makes cloth diapering on the go a little easier!

Great bag, so many uses!
Holds several cloth diapers-easily 4 or 5 without straining to zip. Washes well too. Will be great for wet swimsuits when no longer diapering. May have to get another!
