Note that SF Planet shipped a cradle made by Fosmon which looks different from the one pictured. I presume it is a newer version of that device.

I have been using Palm devices for almost 10 years, and if one didn't come with a docking cradle, I bought a genuine OEM variety. They were all quite solid, and lasted a couple years of 3 or 4 syncs per day. I have had the Fosmon cradle for a month now, and it seems cheaply made by comparison, i.e. a "knockoff." But if you're willing to trade quality for low price (like I am in this case) this cradle may be sufficient. It is a little annoying that the plast piece which supports the phone falls when you remove the phone.

BTW, two weeks after my Fosmon cradle came in my Treo 650 died. I got a Palm Centro as a replacement. The connector on the Centro is the same as on the Treo 650 (though the Centro ship with separate data and power cables which look different). The Centro slips into the Fosmon easily, though the cradle is a little larger than needed. Syncing is fine with the Centro.
