This book is one of the most inspirational books I have ever read. It is a reminder of why we are here, and what the will of God is for our lives. I was absolutely uplifted after reading this book. I am buying another copy for my grown son's birthday, and know it will be a wonderful keepsake to pass on to his children when they are older.When you feel down, or wonder why am I here, in addition to the bible, this is the book to read. A treasure in your personal Christian library, and an excellent gift.

This little devotional book looks great; it's filled with beautiful pictures. For new believers this book would be extremely helpful, it's good for younger people as well. This book is exactly based on that on his "purpose driven life" book, except that it's filled with verses and short explanations.

If you read purpose driven life, and you need a little reminder from time to time, it's a great book for that purpose. If you're looking for something different from you read in his other writings, you will not find it here.

This book, including its subheading--Meditations on a Purpose-Driven Life--is a small book with a powerful, gentle message. Its message is God loves us because we are of one family--His family. This is a book that should be given to anyone who is really down on him or herself. We all fail, we all fall short of perfection, and we all have ups and downs--many of our own making. But this book, read with an open mind and heart, can really touch you, or another who is hurting. Not all books can be all things to all people---and that is okay. But this book can be helpful. I received mine as a gift, and I confess, I did not read it right away. But one evening before retiring, I picked it up and found it was a wonderful little gem. I plan on keeping mine. So if you know of someone who is "searching," or is down and out, or feeling as if he or she does not matter in this world, do share this book if you think it might help. Lord knows we need more uplifting people and kindness to others in this world these days.
