Excellent explanation of drain systems (plumbing).
Although the intended audience for this book is the professional plumber, we found the book extremely useful for understanding the drain portion of our home's plumbing system. Needed an IPC reference, not UPC
This is not relevant material for the IPC. The tables and directions are UPC based. This needs to be stated in the advertisement.

Although the intended audience for this book is the professional plumber, we found the book extremely useful for understanding the drain portion of our home's plumbing system. The book explains how a plumber lays out a system and discusses the most important relevant building codes. It turns out that a drain, waste, and vent system is more complicated than one might expect. This was the only plumbing book we found that gave enough details to help us understand the layout of all the hidden pipes in our house. These details helped us locate a leak in our drain system.
