I'm a user of MS Project with experience putting together basic schedules. Don't use all of Projects capabilities. Purchased SureTrak as many larger clients use this or Primavera. Found it was very difficult to master SureTrak's commands. The book sent with software was for the most part useless. Book is written for those who already know the software not for a new user. As current client demanded SureTrak schedule was forced to hire scheduling consultant. This software was not designed to be user friendly. Discussed with others who have mastered SureTrak and everyone complains about the difficulties in finding work arounds in the software. Primavara / SureTrak do a great job marketing their software. They should put as much effort into their software designs. I knew going in this may be difficult but after spending many hours working with software am very disappointed. Not to mention there is a $600.00 program sitting on my hard drive that is mostly useless.
