This box does a good job of keeping the line tangle-free, though it does not fit some of my spools. They are too large for the case, which stinks, but I guess I just have to get a larger size for those. I find it helpful to have this next to my tacklebox in my boat rather than at the bottom of the box.

I use my Plano Line Tool Box to store varios sizes of bead thread and it's perfect. It's easy to cary with me to workshops and I always now have the the appropriate thread with me for a project.
