The Gun Guard DLX hybrid cases combine the protection of a hard case with the convenience of a soft case. The Gun Guard DLX hybrid pistol case is manufactured using impact-resistant plastic married to a 600 denier water resistant fabric shell with a rigid foam underbelly and quilted snag resistant interior. It is designed to hold up to two handguns. When closed, the case will float. This Gun Guard DLX hybrid pistol case features an internal zippered pocket with four elastic magazine holders and lockable water resistant zippers. Good all around case. 2 compartments to hold guns with 4 magazine holders. There is a net pocket inside the case that can be used for light assessories. Pretty good price got the free shipping.

From the description and pictures of OTHER Plano gun cases, I expected the interior of this case to have egg-crate foam that would be 'friendly' to storing a gun with a trigger lock.

Unfortunately, the interior is divided into three different sections with semi-rigid nylon and cardboard panels. When I try to store my handgun with the trigger lock installed, there is no good place for the lock extension to go.

The case is well made and the configuration is a nice idea but it doesn't allow for convenient locked storage of weapons.

Unlike many cases that say they fit two guns, this one actually does, and it does it well! Once I started using it I had to buy another one. Perfect for taking to the range. My range guys drool over it. I added a few more magazine straps but that's because I hate to reload. If I have any criticism it is with the closing/locking system. I understand they couldn't use a double zipper to maintain waterproofing but only the smallest lock could be used and I don't think it will really be of use. I know that is nit picking but we need to be honest. Buy this. You won't be disappointed.
