I meant $80 per 2000. But in short, they really have decreased their quality. One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that the rubber grip is no longer there so if it gets a little heavy it could be a little annoying.

I bought these to carry ammunition and was concerned about the durability of the latch. They've held up great even when fully loaded and now I wish I'd bought more.

excellent box overall...tight construction and sturdy feel. but unlike the same model i already own and the one advertised here, the one i received has no rubber grip on the handle, which eases hand strain significantly when the box is filled with ammunition. seems a corner in product quality has been cut here.

I was impressed with the Plano 1612 deep box. Its sturdy enough to hold several hundred rounds of pistol ammo but much lighter and easier to use than the old metal ammo cans.The pull out tray and upper compartment are great for storing odds and ends like extra magizines.

I must echo Sean's comments about the handle. Looking at the [...] site I think Amazon has a picture of the 1812-10 MAGNUM FIELD BOX. It appears to have a rubber clad handle like the picture. But overall good build. I bought it to organize all my blackpowder stuff which it does quite well.

Perfect size for the amount of rounds I have in it. I have a humidity controller (silicone beads bought here on amazon!) and it keeps my boxes of .22, .40, and 20 gauge slugs like new, I love it. Air tight for the most part and haven't thrown it in my pool to check water proofing but who is in a lake hunting after all.

Very well made and priced appropriately. There is plenty of room for ammunition and other field accessories. I have had it out on several trips and the contents always remain dry and secure, buy this box.

This product was what I expected. It is good for storing ammo and a few items in the tray for going to the range. I would have given 5 stars if I would have received a better deal.

Overall I like this product for nothing else but its features. It was exactly what I wanted in that respect. The quality however leaves a lot to be desired simply because the plastic is too thin and the sides distort easily leaving the waterproof feature useless. If they had made it a little stonger I would have given this box a better rating.

I store my high-quality home defense 12 gauge ammo in this can. The plastic is very durable, and sturdy. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid weather-proof container. I also keep batteries for my Surefire forend on the 870 Police in the can.
