Very nice but
not as good as the older design, older design had better clasp system and padding inside end caps.

What is pictured is not what you get!
The item sent is not the same design as indicated in the picture. The picture indicates a side opening cover, which is what I wanted. What I received was a pop-top design that I personally don't like as well. That said, it does provide excellent protection for air travel.

I received the rod case with the bottom broken during shipment. Got a new replacement from Plano with just a phone call very easy and free. Rod case was too large once rods were inside much larger than I could handle in a small car.
