4.0 out of 5 stars This thing is huge!
We were looking for a fishing case for my grandson's 6' rod and reel combo. He was heading to a week long camp and we wanted to make sure he could secure the pole in this and not snag the hook on something (or someone - he's 8).

When this arrived I was totally surprised and just how BIG it is. It is long and has like a PVC type pipe in the area that holds...

3.0 out of 5 stars ok, but only fits two very small rods
This case can fit two light action rod and reel combos adequately. However, they have to be pretty small for both of them to fit. If one of your rods has large eyes or a reel bigger than a 2000 series, you'll likely be out of luck. The length and quality is quite good, but the tube is really narrow.

If you like to travel with more than one rod, you might...

We were looking for a fishing case for my grandson's 6' rod and reel combo. He was heading to a week long camp and we wanted to make sure he could secure the pole in this and not snag the hook on something (or someone - he's 8).

When this arrived I was totally surprised and just how BIG it is. It is long and has like a PVC type pipe in the area that holds the rods. I would say that you could easily fit two rods/reels in this thing. The nice part for the reel end is that it doesn't have to be taken apart and can just go in the larger bag area which is padded on both sides and zips shut. It also has a shoulder strap (a must for a kid) and he carried it okay, but it stuck up about two feet in the air above his head.

This is more for an adult than a kid, but it works for our purpose. Wish they made them smaller.
